Turku Science Park – Viestintäalan Harjoittelija (Communications Trainee) – Aug 2019 to Feb 2020 – Producing a variety of English-language marketing content under the Turku Business Region concept with a focus on attracting international skilled workers to southwest Finland. Examples include planning and managing all social media channels, creating website content such as press releases and full news articles and serving as a liaison for international news media outlets.

Cadmatic Oy – Product Marketing Assistant – June to Sept 2018 – Responsible for developing marketing material for the company’s 22 CAD software modules, which focus on Marine and Plant design, construction and retrofitting. Use SEO and sales statistics for product materials development. Produce and edit material for CADMATIC Marine and Plant Magazines as needed, white papers and other materials related to brand marketing and event management. Produce all copy for upcoming web redesign (November 2018).

Futures Research Consulting Student Cooperative (Need Based) – Futures Analyst – Jan. 2017 to present – English language proofreading and foresight research. Recent projects include proofreading a master’s thesis on “Mechanocatalytic pretreatment of lignocellulosic barley straw to reducing sugars” and researching and reporting on future trends and weak signals of the Finnish potato industry and participating in the subsequent futures planning workshop to develop marketing ideas.

Customer Support Specialist – American Telephone and Telegraph (AT&T) – Baton Rouge, La. – Jan. 2014 to Aug. 2016 – Provide technical support for customers with android operating system mobile phones. Examples include backing up and recovering information, activating new phones and removing viruses and various malware from devices.
